How to Switch Storage to the SD Card from the Internal Storage on the DJI RC-2.
Introduction
In this Blog post I am going to show how to switch the Storage Location to the SD Card from the Internal Storage on the DJI RC-2.
This is helpful when you want to transfer your screen recordings and screenshots to a computer via the Micro SD Card. It is also useful for not taking up space on the internal storage of the RC-2, and prevents a secondary step of having to transfer from internal storage to the SD card, which we cover in the blog post and video.

Instructions:
Starting from the Home Screen of the DJI Fly app, press the Profile button near the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the Profile menu.
Next, click on Settings.
On the left side menu of the Settings screen, click Storage.
On the right side menu, Current Storage Location will be set to Internal Storage.
Click on SD Card to the right.
A popup menu will explain that switching will Migrate data from the Internal Storage to the SD card. Click Switch.
The data transfer may take a few seconds depending on the size of the data transfer.
Next I will test a screen recording and show how to access it on the SD card, to ensure it is being saved correctly.
Going back to the Home Screen of the DJI Fly app, swipe down twice from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings menu.
Press the Screen Record Icon. You will hear a chime, indicating the screen recording is active. You will see a record timer with a stop button that you can drag to different areas of the screen. Click stop.
Open the Quick Settings menu once again, by swiping down twice from the top of the screen.
Press the Systems Setting icon on the top right of the screen.
Next click Storage.
…then Internal Shared Storage.
Then Music & Audio.
Then the Audio Files button
Then the “Hamburger” button to the left of audio.
On the left “Files Menu”, scroll down until you see the name of your microSD Card, and click it.
Find the “Movies” Folder.
This shows the test screen recording (video).
